Responsibilities
Lead a full-stack product engineering team of ~11 direct reportsPartner with a Product Manager and Designer to plan roadmaps and sprintsDrive results for customers by owning execution for your team through standard Agile processesDrive engineering excellence by helping the team make effective tradeoffs between technical requirements and business goals, and keeping a pulse on qualityFoster talent development by supporting personal growth, career advancement, and diverse hiring practicesCultivate a collaborative and inclusive team culture with high accountability and autonomy Many teams at Dropbox run Services with on-call rotations, which entails being available for calls during both core and non-core business hours. If a team has an on-call rotation, all engineers on the team are expected to participate in the rotation as part of their employment. Requirements
BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics) or equivalent technical experienceMinimum of 3 years of people management experience with an engineering teamMinimum of 5 year as a software engineer or equivalent technical experienceMust have experience collaborating with a Product Manager to set directionMust have experience running a standard Agile process such as sprint planning, standups, retros, etc. Preferred Qualifications
