About the Role
The Transaction Swimlane owns how users interact with and value moves through the MetaMask Extension. This includes the core extension UX along with the entire transaction lifecycle, accounts, MetaMask SDK and product safety. Our goal is to make the Extension a performant, reliable, trusted and delightful experience for our users. Ensuring transactions are always safe and secure. What you’ll do As the Principal Product Manager for MetaMask's Transaction Swimlane you will:
Lead the Transaction Swimlane end-to-end, managing six PMs and product teams Act as the Core Extension UX Product Manager, personally owning the most critical in-wallet transaction flows, performance and setting the quality bar for user experience. Set and drive a clear product strategy anchored in user jobs-to-be-done, first principles, and measurable outcomes tied to transaction volume, transaction success rate, monetization and funds lost incidents. Translate product strategy within the Swimlane into crisp and aligned roadmaps in every team. Ensure prioritization and execution that delivers determined outcomes. Align deeply with Design, Data and Engineering to ensure consistent, high-quality execution. Be the visible owner of Transaction Swimlane, holding teams accountable, making hard trade-offs, and maintaining urgency without sacrificing trust, quality or reliability.
What we’re looking for
Previous Crypto Wallet experience. Proven experience leading multiple product teams in complex products, ideally within Crypto. Strong player-coach instincts. Comfortable operating at director level while still diving into the details of: UX, technical implementations, and decisions where it matters most. World-class product judgment grounded in user empathy and design-thinking. A track record of driving monetized products without degrading user trust or experience. Clear, authoritative communication and the ability to create focus, momentum, and accountability across senior stakeholders.
